The Wemby hype train is here. Should be a fairly interesting night seeing where some of these guys fall vs who stayed in school for the NIL. A ton of talent in this draft outside of #1.

I can't wait to watch Wemby play in the NBA, like everyone else I've seen nonstop highlights, but admittedly just looked up his stats and for all the hype of him being the best prospect ever - 20/10/2 isn't earth shattering. He's so big and skilled it's hard to imagine him not finding success - but as always the media hype around him has been CRAZY. For a rail thin center from Europe, who shoots 28% from 3 and doesn't play in the paint. The NBA 3-point line is also two feetish further back than Europe, so how far can he *actually* stretch the floor?

He's the unquestionable #1 - only FOUR TOTAL CENTERS are projected to be drafted, Lively in the 1st, and two others in the 2nd - but I dont think Miller / Scoot are a far away #2/#3. Their talent is also immense. Charlotte and Portland are still in a decent spot. I love Scoot's game. If he was like 6'6" it might be a question of who goes #1. Maybe.

Fingers crossed Wiz doesn't get taken and we get another year of him.

The last mock I looked at had Emoni Bates as a late 2nd rounder. With no drama at the top, really, I'm just interested to see if any MAC players get drafted.

For anyone that saw Wemby's first pitch in Yankee stadium, it's clear he should stick with hoops! The kid is a freak, though. He's going to be fun to watch, just hope he can stay healthy.

There are a couple guys I want the CAVS to find their way into the 2nd to select.

Bates is definitely one of them.

Dariq Whitehead from Duke could also be good with a little seasoning.

Anybody else notice how the 3-team blockbuster is turning into a 5 team thing with Chris Paul to San Fran and Marcus Smart to Memphis?

With Jaren Jackson and Marcus Smart, the Grizz will have a lights out defensive team if Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke get over their injuries. They might still win a bunch of games while Ja is sidelined with his double-secret-probation. I'm interested to see what the odds are on Memphis for next season. Might be worth a 10-spot at the sports book desk.

Unless they somehow flip CP3 tonight or soon, I don't know what Golden State is thinking.

Steven Adams is not given enough credit. His absence due to injury, more than anything, held the Grizzlies back this post-season.

You got your wish, Bates to Cleveland.

Is this an attempt at a hot take, or are you trying to give me an aneurism?

Who among the contenders, say those who made at least the second round bettered themselves the most? I think only the Lakers and Miami out of those in the Final 8 of this year scored a 1st round draft pick. Golden State with CP3 might be the blockbuster of the summer.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

Tough to say, but probably depends on what you think about Beal's fit in Phoenix and how they round out the rest of that roster.

Why not both?

I honestly thought he was putting up Dwight Howard China numbers. Not shooting 28%.
