Former LSU men's basketball coach Will Wade, who was fired for cause in March 2022 due to multiple NCAA Level I violation allegations dating back to 2017, has been assessed a two-year show-cause order.

According to the IRP, Wade "committed multiple violations, including failing to report potential NCAA violations, providing impermissible cash payments to impede disclosure of information of potential NCAA violations in contradiction to NCAA unethical conduct legislation, and failing to cooperate with the infractions investigation. The hearing panel also found that the former head men's basketball coach violated the head coach responsibility rules by failing to promote an atmosphere of compliance within the men's basketball program."

And McNeese hired this guy?!?!?!? SUCKERS!!

Yea, this isn’t that big of a deal now. McNeese is still going to win the Southland because Wade loaded the roster with P5 talent. Administration knew this was a possibility when it hired Wade. I doubt it will feel like “suckers” in March.

His one signee for the 2023 class didn't have any "P5" type offers.

He got a transfer from San Antonio (mid-major)

A transfer who washout out of Cinci and Utah.

Some Juco guys who also played at low-mids.

If that team does make the dance, it won't be there long.

CJ Felder transferred from Florida

If you’re going to refer to Mike Saunders as a washout from Cinci and Utah, what does that make Ike and Shereef?

Zach Harvey also played two seasons at Cincy.

Jahvon Garcia averaged 8ppg at UMass in two seasons.

DJ Richards of UTSA averaged 11ppg and 5rbg last season in CUSA.

McNeese is going run through the Southland. Again, I don’t the administration cares about what Wade did at LSU at this point.
