Final Ohio 84, Miami 73 (OT). The "drilled again" thread can finally be retired.

Ohio converted what would have been a monumental collapse into a win by hitting 11 of 11 free throws and getting contributions from players not named Felder in the overtime period. The Bobcats were up by as many as 15 points in the 4th quarter, but the lead started to erode under the weight of Bobcat turnovers and missed free throws. Still, the game looked in hand when Ohio held a 7 point lead with 10 seconds to go. Then Miami's Ivy Wulf hit a corner three while another Redhawk was bowled over setting a screen for her. She made one out of two free throws to make it a four point play. Ohio was then fouled, but missed both attempts; Wulf was fouled on a three-point attempt with 2 seconds left and made all three FT. Tie game, and it went to overtime.

But wait, it gets worse. Felder made a basket and was fouled by her defender early in the overtime period. At least, that was the ruling on the floor. Then the officials decided to think it over, and ruled that Felder had committed the foul. The basket was wiped off, and Felder exited the game with her fifth foul. I thought that would end the game, but Felder's teammates stepped up bigtime. Ella Pope made a long 2-pointer, Abby Garnett got rebound after rebound, and Caitlyn Kroll did what seniors are supposed to do, nailing all of her free throws as Ohio pulled away in the end. Kroll ended up with 20, Pope with 11, and J. Hale had 10 tough points underneath.

Felder had led the way up until the time she fouled out, scoring 28 points. Kate Dennis, who had not been having much of an impact lately, hit 3 3-pointers. Will this be a game that turns the season around?

Yep, they are now contenders! Season long win streak.

This sequence was ridiculous. The foul on Laffler pushing through the screener was well before the made three. Laffler was clear of the screener before Wulf even began her shooting motion.

Amazing game which, if they lost, would have been the defining marker in a lost season in the woods. But somehow, sans Yaya, the ladies re-grouped and played a great 5 minute OT. Has be a confidence booster. Must have been a fun ride back to A Town.

Boldon seems to have the Foreskins (I mean Redskins, er Redhawks) number over the years, Anyone know his record against them?
