Not much job security down south at the football schools.

If Akron pulls an upset in the big dance, somebody is going to make him (Groce) an offer he can't refuse. But the portal is going to be brimming with athletic dudes, mad about their coach getting pink slipped.

Just posting this will probably cause the opposite to happen, but do we really think Akron has much of a chance? Vegas doesn't think so at least @ -14.

Any team has a punchers chance. Zippy will need to have a big night shooting (like Ali Ali will have to play like he does against Ohio), but I don't see why not. I wouldn't put money on it, but it's possible. Can their defense translate to the big time? TBD.
