Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse

Wednesday/Thursday Pre-Game Celebration Registration

Wednesday, March 9, 2022

Cleveland, OH 44115

These pre-game gatherings celebrate the Men's and Women's Basketball teams as they compete in the MAC Tournament. The Harry Buffalo is Ohio University's game headquarters. Come on in and cheer for the Bobcats with us!

These events begin two hours before their respective tip off times.

OHIO Women’s Pre-Game Celebration
9 a.m. Wednesday in advance of when the OHIO Bobcats take on the Toledo Rockets
(11 a.m. Tip)

OHIO Men’s Pre-Game Celebration
4:30 p.m. Thursday in advance of when the OHIO Bobcat take on the Ball State Cardinals
(Tentative 6:30 p.m. Tip)

Not sure, I saw the story on a NE ohio news and went to their website to find the info on when Ohio time was it wasn't there but I also wanted to share the link so everyone else knew it was an option.

It's a damn shame Rocket Mortgage announces that people are not allowed re-entrance to the arena. Means people like me who are here for the whole tournament can't step out for an hour to attend these social events. The whole arrangement is not very fan friendly.

They actually did allow re-enter. I asked the security folks and they said you could re-enter, but you had to have your ticket scanned when you left. I watched the Toledo - CMU game and left the arena and returned after the 1st half of the Akron - Buffalo game.

Long time reader, first time poster.

Are folks still able to buy tickets for tomorrow's semifinal thru the OU website to guarantee seating with other OU fans? If so, how? If you click on the "Tickets" link at the top of this thread it reads "No Events / Items Available". Thanks.

Join the Ohio University Alumni Association for pre-game celebrations when the Men's Basketball team competes in the MAC Tournament semi-finals and finals. Appetizers will be provided, and a cash bar will be available. Registration is required.

It's routing me right to the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse site, which has crappy tickets only. Nothing along the sidelines. I find it impossible to believe that's all that is available.

For those not interested in the Harry Buffalo, is there another watering hole recommended for a BA gathering for pre-game libations? Lizard used to be a popular spot but now . . . Look's like Nick's closed too? City Tap? Clevelander?

Great crowd yesterday, hoping for every fanbase to make it a 6500-7000 attendance tonight. Don't think it's insane to do, but hopefully we got a good house tonight

Any announced attendance from Thursday? If not, what did it look like? Jeff Mac? Alan is usually on top of this but I don't think he was in attendance.

It was fairly sparse and I'd say 50% Ohio fans, but total attendance was likely much better than it looked considering the early games. I only saw the last two.
