Has anyone noticed we have had maybe 2 games this year that had any level of excitement or uncertainty in the last 5 minutes or so?

Belmont - Was tied with 12 to go but led by 15 with 5 to go and won by 12.
Cleve St - The final lead of 11 was the closest of the 2nd half.
Rob Morris - Closest it got was 10 with 3 to go. Won by 14.
Kentucky - Tied with 14 to go but trailed by 14 with 8 to go and never got back in it.
Mt St Mary - Led by 25 with 7 to go.
Concordia - They were within 1 with 12 to go (shiver) but we were +11 with 5 to go and never got close from there. Won by 20.
LSU - We were tied with 14 to go but trailed by 10 with 5 to go, never got close.
St Francis - THE ONE NAILBITER. They got the ball with 8 seconds to go and chance for the lead.
Stetson - They got within 3 with 4 to go but we got it to 10 with a minute to go. Probably our 2nd closest game.
Marshall - Led by 10+ all 2nd half until they sprinted to within 5 with a couple minutes to go before we pulled away for good.
SC Upstate - We actually trailed with 11 mins to go but we had a 10 point lead with 3 to go.
(and in hindight given the 4 opponents, probably was our weakest stretch of bball after we failed to put all 4 away early)
Western - Never really close.
Akron - Was tied with 2 to go after which Akron did not score, but pretty close game. Probably 2nd closest game.
Kent - They got within 5 with 5 to go before we pulled away.
BGSU - Ditto above.
Miami - Bloodshed Blowout.
Toledo - We got it to 6 with 7 to go and they pulled away rapidly.
NIU - Was a blowout, up 28 with 7 to go before they got a lot of junk points.
Buffalo - They never got within 16 in the 2nd half.
Ball St - Blowout.
Eastern - Blowout.
Western - Got within 6 with 11 to go before we pulled away.
Toledo - We got it to 7 with less than 2 mins to go but it was never really close.

So only the St Francis game came down to the final possession, and it was them with the ball. We've never had the game on the line with the ball in our hands. Seems like a high percentage of college bball games come down to the last minute but just hasn't been the case for us. Our quality of opponents kind of reflects this as we've had 3 good opponents and several weak ones...not many in the 80-180 range.

I don't have much of a point in pointing this out...but I do wonder if this is a bad thing. Like a QB who never had to run a 2 minute drill finding himself having to run a 2 minute drill in the super bowl.

I've noticed this. Very odd for a season.
