Groce’s Bobcats beat Michigan, he leaves for Illinois. Because of that, LeVert goes to Michigan cause Groce had no open spots. LeVert & Beilein slay Groce. LeVert to NBA. Groce gets fired, goes to Akron. Beilein goes to Cleveland, gets fired. LeVert to Cleveland.

But also, before Michigan Beilein was at WVU (because Dan Dakich is a certified idiot). After Beilein went to Michigan, Huggins came to WVU. Huggins got his start at Akron. Who came with Huggins to WVU from Kansas State? Former Ohio Head Coach Billy Hahn.

Am I an idiot? Quite possibly, but I figured I'd share this revelation of nothing with the only group that could possibly care.

Cavs going all in. Love this move for LeVert, a skinny Pick Central player I saw in a game at Newark. Excited at the time that he was signed to play for Ohio, but had no idea he was a future NBA star.

It's real simple, they added 'more transparency' in breaking all the D1 teams into quadrants, to then still pick whomever they want.

(Generally a high-major team b/c they are a high-major team & have played other high-major teams lol)

Actually Dakich was pretty smart for what he did and not so sure I'd call him an idiot for not taking the WVU job. He explained the entire situation on a podcast years ago. This was before he became a color commentator for ESPN.

Long story short a former WVU player was promised certain things by the previous regime and Dakich was informed by the AD that they had cleaned up that mess. Dakich told WVU the only way he was going there is if there was no nonsense going on, because he didn't want to get caught up in NCAA stuff that had nothing to do with him.

Sure enough, the first couple days on campus Dakich is told by said player that he's still and would continue to receiver the improper benefits and wanted Dakich to get involved. Dakich said no and told the AD he wouldn't be part of that and left WVU.

It was said he wanted a higher salary if he was gonna be putting up with that, but I'm not sure how true that is.

Welll..... I find it interesting that you ask if you are in the same camp as Dakich....are you planning on getting certified like him?

The world of basketball is very interconnected. The more you know....the more you know.... *translated*... once you start meeting people and realizing who they are connected to and who that leads you to ....all of the things you listed above make perfect sense and should not be a revelation.

HEard this story from the horse's mouth several times in several different places. THe last line is not true, guarantee you he is straighter than Bobby Knight was, no way he made that statement. The WVU prez threatened him and his wife if they ever said anything once they confronted him with the player's demands and what they found out about previous arrangements. They just got up and left while the prez swore to ruin him. The first part is totally consistent with the story that I have heard several times consistently stating the same facts....but there were only those there in the meeting who really know. Beilein and Dakich are great friends and appear on air together. JB had DDs kid as a walk on at Michigan for 3 years.Beilein has confirmed what he knows of the story after Dakich left the president's office and what JB walked into...
