It seems like he gets it. He is the easiest coach to appreciate since I've been a Bobcat. And that's saying something for me. You were right on this one so far. My hope is that it lasts a long time before some place else with mega bucks comes calling. Or that Ohio can become some sort of mid-major "power" that allows Ohio to pay him substantially more so that mega bucks aren't of interest to him at all but the biggest fish in the college hoops pond. (probably a pipe dream, but hey, we can dream, right?) Under Jim Snyder we used to play 5 Big Ten games a year. Why can’t we turn the corner? And if we can’t, so what? We have a great university. What is wrong with having a competitive athletic program in the MAC with a stunning year every so often? Let’s be realistic and not break the bank. Certainly feels like that would be easier to do in Basketball than in Football as well.
