Someone on the MAC board posted the conference rankings from Sagarin, Kenpom and NET. Thought some here might find it interesting so, I copied it over here and added Bart Torvik. (I am not good at formatting tables, so sorry for the wall of test type listing)

I was also more than a bit bored at work with the holiday slow down, so I took a look at conference performance and the net rankings. I pulled the schedules from the teams official pages via a script and did a lookup against the NET Rankings. I did this pretty quickly so take these numbers with a grain of salt.  They don't mean much, but I found them interesting.

Note: I removed all non-D1 and exhibition games as those teams / games are not listed in the NET rankings.

This is awesome, Eagle! Thanks for taking the time to compile this.

We can always hope the MAC will back to normal strength next year.

This is Massey's composite of 42 rankings. As many who are paying close attention have been noting having 5 teams ranked 225+ is just awful for the MAC. If the MAC rep has dropped a lot of games to those teams the committee is likely to look at that pretty harshly. Everyone should note that's going to be looked at differently from past years. Winning 65% of your MAC games won't get much respect.

76 Ohio
102 Toledo
109 Buffalo
135 Akron
154 Kent
174 Miami OH
188 Bowling Green
225 E Michigan
260 Ball St
304 N Illinois
320 W Michigan
342 C Michigan

Others - Belmont is a quality win. Marshal is a decent win. Cleveland St. won both Horizon titles last year and has a shot to do so again. But the Horizon is not what it was 15 years ago. If they do they will probably be a 15 seed again.

3 LSU
29 Kentucky
41 Belmont
148 Marshall
162 Cleveland St
267 St Francis PA
282 Stetson
302 Mt St Mary's
325 SC Upstate
336 Robert Morris

There is a lot of variation in our ranking depending on what it is looking at. In ESPN BPI's predictive ranking we are all the wat down at 121. That's the result of letting too many not very good teams hang around for too long. In the Strength of Record based off of BPI we are a very good #35. That's a result of having a good win and no bad losses. My own SOR calculation says #45.
