Well, seeing as this is our only guaranteed Saturday home game of the season, I'm in. Thanks for the seat upgrade, McKinney.

Their D1 wins are against teams a combined 3-13. Still, not going to sleep on a team that just hung 93 on a normally competitive Bucknell squad. Their strength looks to be getting to the free throw line, both guards and bigs. We're not very guard deep even if McDay were available, so have to stay out of foul trouble there.

Any word on McDay's availability moving forward? Beyond just depth, he is a good perimeter defender and allows us to show our opponents different looks compared to our other guards.

Hopefully we will have a strong homecourt advantage on Saturday and can put this game away early rather than letting them hang-around.

I've seen crazier things happen.

BTW, I have two tickets in section 117 I won't be using. I'll give them away for free to anyone who needs them.

BVP posted a picture from practice where he said "back to work" and it looked like Lundo in one of group shots.

Way too many turnovers in first half.

I'm really discouraged that Ezuma doesn't get more minutes. Really would like for Boals to feel comfortable putting such a big body on the floor.

This isn't a tough team. This is a sloppy team. And this isn't a team who plays with any particular amount of fire.

Change my mind.

Warts are starting to show.

Can’t hide it anymore.

The loss of Wilson and McDay are having a tremendous effect.

The MAC is a grind. I still like how they battle, warts and all.

My god..this is a team that thought it had Jason Preston, Dwight Wilson and Lunden McDay back. This is a team that is 6-2 against pretty nice comp. This is a team that gave two NCAA SEC teams some run. This is a team with a 13 percent 3 point shooter who will not stay that way. This team is OVERACHIEVING. In year's past we would lose a starter and it was the end. This team rallies and wins!

There’s been enough games for other teams to have tape. Not surprising we’re seeing more competition.

If you think you saw a team tonight with fire in their bellies, then we watched different teams. I love these guys and believe in them. I just want more fire

You have to admire a couple of things about St. Francis.

They battled to the end.

A Roman Catholic school with a 6-10 guy from New Jersey named Josh Cohen.

You got that right. Let’s warp the these guys as the season progresses. They scouted us well and exploited our tendencies.

We were lucky to win this one.

Their first two home games were associated with community charity drives. The first one gave away a free gen ad ticket to anyone bringing at least five cans of food. The second was half-price admission for donating a new or gently used toy. Not sure if Ohio does anything like that but it would be a good idea for those games that are anticipated to be sparsely attended (like mid-week MACtion football games).

SFU made the most of lots of bad looks. I didn't think our defense was all that bad. Turnovers were our undoing.

Jason has to be Ohio's career leader in BS calls against. The foul that led to his tech was legit, but two others were trash.

I thought it was really odd that Schmock got so much run in the second half over Roderick and Towns. I didn't see anything wrong with the latter two's play. I really like what Towns gave today.

4300 on a Saturday with students in session against a D1 opponent is really lousy. I understand Santa Fest kept lots of students uptown, but still.

Santa Fest turns every bar into a nightclub by 6:00. All I want to do is get a burger and watch the football games. This has been my old head moment.

BVP looked hesitant. There was one play that keeps crossing my mind and it was when he had a great shot fake took a dribble or two almost to the elbow. Wide open but he passed to JC for a missed 3. Just take the jumper!

It seemed to me that after we got out to an 18 point lead we, as a team, let up and did not take this opponent seriously. The 20 overall turnovers and the poor shooting in the 2nd half led me to my thoughts.
Yes, we pulled it out in the end as the ball tends to bounce in the direction of the better team.
Like someone else stated we did not play with much intensity.
As I stated after the LSU game; We win the games we are projected to win and lose the games we are projected to lose.
I also think, after listening to the coach after game video, that the refs were not calling this game fairly.

My McDay thoughts; After hearing from coach yesterday it appears that it could be a family issue, not health, playing time, not disciplinary. Hope it all works out for the best.

Lets give the freshman some more playing time and increase depth for playoff run and next years rebuild!
