Want to talk about what else is going on in the basketball landscape? Let's do it here.

Was really happy to see Drexel end a long drought.

Cleveland State is in. One of the quickest program turnarounds I can remember. Who would have expected their success after what we did to them in December.

Winthrop looked awesome. I will probably pick them to win their first round game no matter the opponent.

Belmont should get an at-large bid.

The committee is a bunch of pansies if they don't pit App State against Michigan as a 16/1 matchup.

Overtime, 79-79. Ball State with a layup with 0.01.

Toledo falls down by five in OT but pulls it out 91-89. Ball State with a couple of chances to tie in in the last seconds but can't hit. Winner of our game plays UT tomorrow.

Happy for the overtime. Actually, I told some of my coworkers that I was hoping for 4 overtimes to push the start of OUr game back about an hour and after my last math class of the day. As it is, I missed about 1/4 of OUr game.

Duke's AD just announced their season is done. No Duke or UK in the dance.

Apparently Xavier is trying to schedule one or two more games to strengthen their resume after a first round Big East tournament upset loss to Butler.

I've always enjoyed The Missouri Valley Conference and their brand of basketball.

Any thoughts on if Drake gets an at-large?

Probably depends on if any bids are stolen during the conference tourneys?

Also, I was not sad to see Marshall losing to Rice. The Owls have crushed their dreams a few times this academic year.

On another subject, I have been trying to keep up with background on the Indy-based setup the NCAA has for this year and all of the logistics that are going into it. While I think the traditional format will return at some point, I have appreciated the work and creativity to make this happen.

Love this time of year-12+ hours of games now through Saturday!

Duke and Kentucky are available.

LOL

I'm still waiting for them to realize the buyers remorse by promoting Steele instead of bringing Pat Kelsey back home. Kelsey just won the Big South tournament at Winthrop for the 3rd time in 6 years. He also has 4 regular season titles.

Akron up 34-26 at the half. Have to label BG as the most disappointing team in the MAC this year.

BG has no right to be in this game.
