Any chance he lands in Akron? How about Duquesne with Dru Joyce III? I might like the added attention he would give the MAC.

I imagine Duquesne has as good of chance as any, maybe even a better chance, but 0% Akron.

Hard to imagine what he does because he's in the most unique situation in basketball. He needs more years in college basketball, he'll also make a lot of money in college (he doesn't need it though) vs the grind of the G League- what are the chances he leaves the watchful eye of Lebron? Savannah went to most (every?) game. UCLA? Back to USC? What are his motivations?

He could go to Duke, and become a 3-D guy who plays 4th fiddle to Cooper Flagg and Co...? But he might struggle to see playing time.

Would he go to OSU to play for a middle-of-the-road team with a first-time head coach? I wouldn't.

Would he go to Kansas? Maybe.

Oregon? Is the Nike relationship really all that? He didn't choose them the first time.

Gonzaga with Mark Few? Maybe.

Who knows. Very interesting decision. He needs time though. I don't think he's ready for even the G-League, but he could definitely develop there. He certainly doesn't need money.

There is zero chance he would go to Kansas.

I meant to say Kentucky, but I think Kansas is just as likely.

Veteran, tenured coaching, blue blood program that produces NBA talent.

Hate to say it, but I don't think Bronny is an NBA talent and papa is probably going to get him a roster spot that should probably belong to someone else more deserving/talented.

I watched a few USC games, and Bronny didn't jump off the screen at me. I sort of took it with a grain of salt, though, given his health coming into the season. I want to see a 100% healthy season to see if he's NBA material.

Curious thought, I wonder how much it matters what shoe brand a college uses? Lebron is a Nike guy. Does that more or less rule out going to a school that's an Adidas school, for example?

It 100% rules out non-Nike schools. Hence why I said Kansas is a non-starter.

Don't be surprised if it is Duquesne.

I would love that for Dru Joyce. He's someone I'd like to see succeed.

And now he is "entering the NBA draft."

My take on Bronny is that he isn't a good fit anywhere in the country. This is due to the fact that his team of reps outweighs his skill and value on the court. The baggage that comes with rostering Bronny James is most likely too much to take on for the return you're gonna get on the court. I'm not saying that programs won't open their doors, but to say they will be a good "fit" is probably exaggerating.

I think LeBron is tired and if Bronny does get drafted, I won't be surprised if dad hangs them up. To me, it just doesn't sound like LeBron has that fire in him anymore. Once he got the scoring record, I think that checked the second to last box for what he wants to accomplish in career. The last box to check off is playing with Bronny. He's not chasing rings anymore, he's really just on a trek to finalize his legacy at this point.

I agree. And, now Bronny is a second round pick at best, and Lebron and the NBA have time to make it clear nobody drafts him until the Lakers second round pick comes up….

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

He's in the draft to get NBA evaluation and feedback. He'll land at some pretty good-to-good program next year and I think he'll grow his skillset. There's potential there.

From your mouth to Koby Altman's ears.

Cavs have multiple 2nd rounders.

---

It's unfortunate he wont get that time to develop, BUT - I don't think the G-League is a bad idea. It's just that he's being fast-tracked and he doesn't really have the size to overcome some of his short comings while he develops.

Honestly, would like to see him end up at Duke where he would almost blend in because of the team star power. Campus is small, somewhat isolated, they're used to the media, they're used to celebrity, opposing fans are ruthless anyway, he can be that mold of Jeremy Roach, Proctor and he can become a thicker, tough defending guard that drops in 10 every night while Cooper Flagg goes for 30.

If his name was James Bronson he'd be a strong Top 100 2-guard that comes off the bench at USC for two years, keeps his head down in the gym, develops his shot and some moves, leads his team to the sweet 16 as a junior, all-conf as a senior.

Because his name is Lebron James... many clocks are ticking.

north carolina seems like a good place for him. Unlv might be another good place.he could be the guy that helps get unlv back to where they were when tarkanian was coaching there.

I was thinking UNC as well but the MJ factor has me thinking the James Gang isn't going to want to enter that realm. Literally every shot he takes would be compared to MJ.

UNLV during the Tarkanian years, huh?

Why not go even farther back? How about Bronny enrolls at USF where Bill Russell won titles for the Dons? Better yet (and farther back in time), how about he transfers to CCNY, the only team to ever win the NIT and NCAA tourney in the same year? On second thought, I'm not sure CCNY even has a team these days. Heck, maybe Ohio joining the ACC will entice Bronny to come to Athens.

Don't be unrealistic. We're an Adidas school. No chance.

LeBron has always been a bicycle enthusiast. Once we get him on campus and he sees the bike path he will force his son to attend school here

I've seen crazier things happen.
