Thinking about making the three hour trip (for us) for the game. Any of you “nor’ east’ers” (or others) have any recommendations for good casual places to eat pre and/or post-game in and around Kent? Thanks in advance.

I will second this recommendation. The owner could retire on all the "junk" he has collected and put at this restaurant. It's truly a sight to behold. The food is delicious. And if you're so inclined--I'm not, but bought some as gifts--there's award-winning local wine for sale.

All may be true but it is two miles from town at a busy intersection surrounded by fields. Not much of a campus/town atmosphere.

Go downtown and make some time to walk around the old downtown and the newly developed area adjacent to it. Rays is a towny joint and great but there are several other places that you may discover you like on your walk about.

Kent sucks. Just go in and out with the game.

I live within a half hour of Kent. When we go to games, we usually eat at Mike's Place or, if we want something quick, Raising Caines.

I'll be there with at least one other. For anyone coming to the game, wants a reserved seat, and doesn't want to pay $37 for a chair back, the Ohio fans / team tickets are put in the first few rows of section L bleachers. There were still a bunch of seats in that section and the one adjacent for $17. For reference, GA are $12.

Thanks everyone for your restaurants advice. Eagle 66, do you know if the Section L tickets you referenced can be acquired through our ticket office or Kent's? Both? Thanks again to everyone!

I bought mine through Kent's web site yesterday. If the Ohio box office has any, I'm guessing they'd be the ones in those lower rows of L.

Late this morning I tried our ticket office first and they referred me to Kent’s. I called them and got our two. Thanks.

Taking my 5 year old to her first game tomorrow. She is pretty pumped. I will probably hit up the Continental before hand for a Gyro. The same guy also owns Laziza which is a lot nicer and a part of the new development over the past few years.

7 point underdogs. A win would make believers out of a lot of people.

I'm a big fan of downtown Kent. Head and shoulders above A-Town.

Announcer really stumbled through Boals coaching history before realization Boals played for Ohio

I've seen crazier things happen.

I didn’t think a team could shoot 95% from three in the first and second half but here we are.

Unforced turnovers are killing us.

Really liked our chances at half only down four after Kent made ten 3s. Thinking there is no way they can keep it up....so much for that.

Too many unforced turnovers and we've had butter fingers. How many possessions lost with ball going off our fingers out of bounds?
