TRIVIA! Which current college basketball coach has won five consecutive buy games (with his team being the ones that were bought)?

What were the 4 at Stoneybrook? Hope it makes it to 6 tomorrow...but really don't think we will get to 7!

Within the thread someone mentioned the 4. One of them, if I recall correctly, was South Carolina.

Looking at their schedule, it may actually be 7 now since it looks like their last one from the previous season was also a win. I think the list is...

Rutgers (17-18)
George Washington (18-19)
South Carolina (18-19)
Rhode Island (18-19)
Northern Iowa (18-19)
St Bonaventure (19-20)
Iona (19-20)

Impressive. But there is a loss to Brown mixed in between RI & NI...maybe that wasn't considered a "buy game."

How would SB and iona be considered buy games? These are home and homes correct?

St. Bonnie was a buy game. Iona was not. Iona was a 2-for-2 series, with that being the last game of the four games played. I'd really enjoy seeing more Iona, or other MAAC teams on the schedule in the future. The Iona and Ohio series produced some pretty good basketball for the last four years.
