Senior Day at the Convo, looking forward to thanking Dom for all her hooping in Athens. Also looking forward to stomping the Falcons, who have lost 15 of their last 17. Let's put this one away early but keep the foot on the pedal in preparation for Wednesday. Go 'Cats.

Looking at bracketology, ESPN has us as one of the first four out with CMU and Buffalo in. College Sports Madness doesn't have us in, but they have not updated since 3/4. Realtime RPI has us in as an 11 seed, but don't specify whether it's an at large or auto. They also have CMU and Buffalo in. Miami is nowhere to be found on any.

I feel like a championship game appearance might be enough to get Ohio in because it likely would mean one more quality win against someone in the semifinals. By all accounts, Central Michigan looks like a lock. Buffalo is on the bubble too and probably in a little better shape than Ohio. With the loss to Ohio, Miami probably needs to win the MAC tourney to get in. Miami rated behind the other three after non-conference play and likely won't finish ahead of any of the others in MAC play. It'd be awesome if there was some scenario in which all four MAC teams could get in, but I think three is a best-case situation, and it's still possible that it's only one if Central wins the tournament.

Never EVER underestimate the NCAA's ability to screw over mid major teams. We need to at least get to the championship game and even that might not be enough.

There seems to be a general recognition this year by the bracketologists that the MAC will get at least two teams in the Big Dance.

When the selection committee is in the room and MAC school's are up against power-5 programs for at-large bids, even when deserving, is a pretty dicey crapshoot. Three bids seems deserved. Just win it and get the automatic bid and let the other schools sweat it out.

Nice win for the ladies. These two teams just picked up the battle where they left off at BG. The turnovers were a big help.
