Lots of students interviewed in the new Baker and overlooking Court Street (with Copeland in the background) during this episode of How the States got their Shapes:

Only problem is at the 3:50 mark of the show they interview a professor from OU but they title him as being from "University of Ohio."  Errr.

The host is from Dayton, a 1987 alum, and used to work at WOUB...I'm betting he wasn't in the editing room!

Wikipedia and IMDB says Brian's from Granville, right next to Newark (Nerk).  That is quite a distance from Dayton.  More History Channel mistakes than just the University of Ohio.

Rooting for Akron is like cheering on the Taliban.

In my mind the "University of Ohio" is a rather benign mistake.  It's kind of like saying the "University of Indiana" rather than the correct "Indiana University."  It's a mistake, not a "put down" like "Ohio U."

Ahh the History Channel. It used to be pretty good. But then the execs realized that it needed to appeal to the lower common denominator - which I guess is the not-so-silent majority. Now I get Ice Road Truckers, Swamp People, Top Shot, Mounted in Alaska and other crap that has little historical significance. The stuff fans of rogue Rufi like. These shows should be on TLC, which ironically was The Learning Channel.  More like Learnin'

Oh for the days when I could sit back, watch High Hitler, and learn something. Now I got to watch the dregs talk about stuffing an animal. Sounds like that belongs on Nat Geo's Taboo show about bestiality, not History...

Uh, I mean, Go Bobcats!

I don't endorse the furry lifestyle, but when the Bobkitten is involved things can change mighty quickly...
