The no. 20 ranked Bobcats have a big home weekend playing rival Miami and preseason MAC pick Bowling Green.
OHIO, 12-2 (2-0) has had a great run so far despite losing All-Mac outside hitter Chelsea Bilger for the season. But RS junior Liis Kullerkann and 2 frosh, Mallory Salis and Katie Horton have stepped up and are a big part of the success so far. Miami Redhawk is 8-6, including 2 tough 5 set losses in the MAC to BG & WMU. They always bring their best game here (recall a big upset they had a few years ago in the Convo) but the Cats will be heavy favorites. Friday at 7.
Bowling Green Despite their 5-8 record after a horrendous start, the Falcons have won 3 straight including their first 2 MAC matches against Miami and NIU (a sweep). They’re much better than their record and this one could be a war. Saturday at 7.
OHIO has ranked in the top 30 in attendance in the nation for many years. They’ve played 8 straight away games and it would be nice for a huge Convo crowd to welcome them home.
