The biggest series of the year starts with a blowout 8-2 loss for the Bobcats. Need to bounce back tomorrow. WMU is now a half game ahead of us in the standings.

Nothing like an 11am first pitch to kick of the most important series of the year.

SWEPT, capped by getting run ruled yesterday. We now need to sweep @ Akron while WMU gets swept at home vs CMU. Neither are impossible but both together are very unlikely.

And in fact I am still not even sure if we would win the 4 seed if it happens as we would be 17-13 and they would be 16-13 having swept us.

Bobcats have now lost 8 of 9 MAC games. Oof.

On the plus side, who can remember a MAC season with 0 cancellations? That is pretty amazing.
