I had an appointment at The James today and wore an Ohio shirt. When I got on the shuttle from the parking garage I got a little good-natured grief about it. The shuttle driver then told us her son was on the O$U baseball team when he was there. He has since graduated and now lives in the Cleveland area. She said one of her son's co-workers was on the Bobcat baseball team. The Bobcat mentioned to her son that Ohio had played O$U when he was on the team and was beaten on a two-run homer in the ninth inning. Her son told him that he was the player who hit it. The Bobcat then said that he was the pitcher. She said they've become best friends. We weren't on the shuttle long enough to catch names or how long ago it might've been.

We will get by.
We will survive.

Neat small world story. Interesting the way things like this work out . . . sometimes, I believe, it's Providential.
