I would love to follow Bobcats on their summer teams. Can anyone update us on where they are playing?

There's so many leagues, it's hard to find many of them, but here's a start:
Infielder's Connor Callery and Connor McMann and outfielders Devon Garcia and Ryan Sargent are staying in Athens with the Southern Ohio Cooperheads. I didn't see any Ohio players on any other Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League roster. There's a lot of D-II and D-III players in the league, so hopefully the other guys are in leagues that are a bit more challenging. I'll try to search for a few others later.

I searched a few more leagues and found no Ohio players. I'm wondering if Ohio isn't doing summer ball again?

Good, this seems to be better competition than in many cases before.

Is it just me or has the quality of players in the Great Lakes League declined over the years?

I was thinking the same thing. I expected a lot of MAC players, along with other regional Division I schools with a few smaller school players mixed in, but what I found was a lot of Division II and III players and only a few Division I guys when I looked over the rosters.

I may be mistaken, but that's what the League was for years.

It's been deteriorating little by little for a while now.
