Toledo beat Ohio 6-4 in 15 innings today to take two of three from Ohio. Great pitching by both Rudnicki and Colletti, but the Rockets scored three in the 15th. It drops the Bobcats a game behind Kent State in the East with series at Eastern Michigan and Miami remaining on the schedule for Ohio. Central Michigan has the overall MAC lead.

CMU 15-6
Kent State 13-8
Toledo 12-9
Ohio 12-9
BG 11-10
WMU 11-10
Ball State 11-10
Akron 10-11
Miami 9-12
EMU 8-13
NIU 8-13
Buffalo 6-15

Tough loss. Not often your starter goes 6+ (Rudnicki might be turning the corner) and you have a reliever log more innings than he did. The loss Friday was ugly, but their ace was on the hill and pitched well.

At least that was the last of the stronger MAC teams on the schedule. Even though we'll be on the road, we could easily go 5-1 or 4-2 and nab the MAC East crown.
