A July 19 Blog.Northstarball report indicates that that IPFW is Nic's favorite.  Despite how they let him play, how can anyone want to go to school with initials that don't even make a good acronym?

"Nic Moore ’11, Warsaw (IL):
Ohio, IPFW, Valparaiso, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, Evansville, St. Bonaventure, and other mid-majors
Offers: Ohio, IPFW, Valparaiso, Evansville, St. Bonaventure, and other mid-majors
                      Favorite:
“I like IPFW, they are close to home and they’re gonna let me play how I play,” Moore said."

Is 'play like I play' emblematic of bad and/or stupid attitude?  Sounds like 'no regard for my team or teammates 'cause it's all about the me.'

Where's the band?!

It's all about context. If he's talking about the system he likes to play in then it's really not a big deal. Up tempo players want to play in up tempo systems where guys who want to play half court for all forty minutes need not come to Ohio University. However if this kid is talking about wanting to make sure he touches the ball enough times in a game then that is obviously a cause for concern.

Maybe he is scared off by the fact that we already have DJ and Nick at the PG. Along with a chance of getting Stevie Taylor. Maybe too packed of a position for him to come and possibly wait until his senior year to start?

Wow...good landing by Moore.  Quite a more visible program than IPFW.

Ran across this looking for something else.

We would have been way too happy to have Nic at this point. I liked him when I sat with Groce in the suite at Indiana HS State Finals. I remember several folks in the suite saying he was "too short to play college ball" He was a premier PG in HS and has run the show at SMU since he transferred.

As a short person he has always had a chip on his shoulder and many tried to take his accomplishments and down play them since grade school. He is the reason the Plumlees went to HS in NC instead of Indiana. When coach politely informed Dad that Miles and Mason were not Magic JOhnson type players Pops took them off to NC and Nic lead the team to state Finals against a young Smith-Rivera despite the loss of the 3 Duke bound Plums.

Nic is a consummate PG and has nothing but respect and regard for his team mates choosing to make them better rather than be a shoot first PG. Could not be more wrong with the quote above.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

The game loves and rewards those who love and reward the game

I was very high on Nic when we were recruiting him. Fortunately, we now have a PG comparable to Nic.
