Another almost meaningless list of something to talk about.... I guess we can all start getting our plane tickets and hotels for Boise.

Mark Schlabach (ESPN) Camellia Bowl East Carolina
Kyle Bonagura (ESPN) GameAbove Sports Bowl Michigan State
Brad Crawford (CBS) Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Colorado State
Jerry Palm (Palmbrackets) Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Air Force
Brad Crawford (247) GameAbove Sports Bowl Minnesota
Oliver Hodgkinson (PFNet) Bahamas Bowl Western Kentucky
Steve Lassan (Athlon) Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Colorado State
Pete Fiutak (CFNews) Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Colorado State
Joe DiTullio (gamehaus) Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Fresno State

Teamrankings gives Ohio an 81.2% chance to be eligible. The sum of their eligibility odds is 82.01. I believe that there are 82 postseason spots.

As much as I love the idea of Florida or some other place warm in December, that require a great deal of planning that the early bowls really only give a matter of days to do. Detroit? Detroit's easy. Short drive and an incredibly underrated downtown along with some amazing museums and culinary delights for the whole family. Heck, we might just do Christmas in a nice Detroit hotel.

I'll take the CFP, but Detroit is always a pleasant drive with quite a few fans that travel.

As always, I'd rather play in front of 20K fans in Detroit than 17 68 Ventures executives in Alabama.

I’d love to have a shot at another Big 10 opponent in Detroit the day after Christmas, I would almost definitely go, but I think we likely won’t get invited back there if we win the MACC again, so there is that.

Because of family commitments around Christmas I can only attend bowl games in late December or early January, like the old timeline of the bowl game in Mobile (under one of its various names). That worked great for me. Not a fan of the early bowls, but always watch my Bobcats on TV whenever they play, if I can't be there in person.
