In history - nope. But helluva comeback especially after down to QB3....

Wins vs Pitt in Peden and at PSU both greater games - much higher rated teams vs Jax St and much bigger upsets. Great game entertainment wise for sure (unless ur in the que sera camp....)

Grittiest game in Ohio history.

Not sure who is going to suit up next week, but Hauser Ball is gritty AF so far. No panic out there.

In terms of entertainment I could see that, but personally I’m pretty partial to the MAC title where we smacked around Miami, all of the bowl wins, 44-7 smack down of Marshall in the first Blackout game, WVU, Penn State, Pitt, Iowa State, etc.

Not the greatest because it is hard to call it important. But gritty, weird, overcame a lot of bad luck, lucky to win anyway.....all these definitely apply.

It's the wildest game we won and I feel satisfied about it. That Texas State game was wilder but we lost. That Fordham game was wild, but I don't feel satisfied needing to score over 50 to beat an FCS team in the last minute.

I’m going to drive down to Jacksonville Alabama wearing my Bobcat gear, go to a local watering hole, sit at the bar, order a beer and gloat!

Oh to be young.

My first game as a freshman was the Pitt game.

Nothing will top that.

Ohio (with Cleve Bryant) - 60
Cincinnati (w/Greg Cook) - 48

Highlight of an undefeated regular season and Top 20 ranking

I’m with you on this one.

After suffering through years of mediocrity this game was the beginning of fresh air.

I will always remember the North Texas game in the rain as one of our grittiest wins too.

I listened to that game on the radio from my apartment in Columbus when I was working on my MA from the Big Farm. That was one heck of shootout. I remember being elated with the outcome and the performance of my friend, Todd Snyder.

Missed that one, 1969 (freshman year) was a bit of a let down, by Bryant and Snyder will still there. These were the good ole days.

I have several favorites. Win over Pitt is one. My wife Lynne, not a rabid football fan, jumped up and down and bumped all fists within reach when Dion intercepted the Pitt OT pass and ran it back for the winning score.

Another was Jim Grobe taking the Cats to Minnesota and Chad Brinker was a one-man wrecking crew - ran for a TD, threw a TD pass and caught a TD pass. Ohio 23-Minnesota 17.

Ohio vs Penn State. I had three sources of tickets but couldn't attend because we were in France. On the evening of the game, Lynne and I were in the living room with our hosts, Christophe and Laura Ramaschi-Trautmann, and a neighbor lady. When it got to about 9:30 pm, I recalled that the kickoff had been noon EDT and that it had likely ended about 3:30 pm - or 9:30 pm in France. Casually I asked Laura if I could log onto her computer. Certainly, she said. A few steps later I was in her computer room, logged on and entered Ohio vs Penn State. Up popped up this headline: Bobcats top Lions!

I walked back to the living room and without saying a word kissed the three women on the cheek. Said Lynne laconically, "OU must have won."
