Has anyone seen anything specific on Finn's injury? All I can tell is he missed most of the 2nd half of their last game. Gleason played really well for Toledo in his absence. Sneaking through a Toledo message board, a poster there made mention of the injury "not looking good" but nothing specific.

He's probably gonna miss just enough time to keep Miami propped up in the MACC race.

Did anyone ever consider 8-1 Miami at 8-1 Ohio in a rivalry game on Halloween in Athens as a possible candidate for Gameday? I don't think that it is likely at all but it doesn't seem totally impossible. If Kurtis doesn't get concussed and we still had at shot a 9-0 then I don't think that it would be all that unrealistic. Georgia vs. Florida is that week, Oregon at Utah, Oklahoma at Kansas, Duke at Louisville... These are all reasonable candidates but there isn't a game that looks like a game they just gotta be at. They sometimes go to places just for variation in weeks like that. It is a long way off but maybe we can have a modicum of hope.

Root for Fresno to lose. They usually give one G5 a date and the Bulldogs might be the G5 golden boy so far.

Look out for the winner of JMU at Marshall.

To actually get the NY6 spot we will need a lot of these teams to lose twice.

Tennessee at Kentucky and (redacted) at Wisconsin are the same day. So no.

I saw those too when I was posting. I still think they are just as likely to be at some of these others but are any of these must attend right now? Look, I don't think that this is likely at all but I still don't think that is totally impossible.

If we had won at SDSU, we would have a slim chance if we won out. Didn’t happen and we are out of it. 0 chance.

I definitely would not say that. It is unlikely enough that it is barely worth discussing but it isn't zero. We need a ridiculous amount of help. ISU to win some games. A lot of unbeaten teams right now need to lose twice. We might need Fresno State and Tulane to have three losses which means Fresno State needs three more than they have. But upsets in title games where a four loss team beats an unbeaten team actually eliminates that team that only has one loss. JMU can run the table in the SunBelt and as far as I know they cannot actually qualify for a conference title. That would help. It is an unlikely scenario but, again, not impossible.

Looking over the ratings of various teams and their schedules, you’re probably right- it’s not as remote a possibility as I had thought. The MTN West teams can hack each other up and then the AAC as well. Main thing is- winning out for us and let’s see what happens.
