I didn't even have to watch this video to know he's one of the original owners.

Just an insanely likeable guy.

Thanks for posting, Ted. It gives further insight into what makes TA click. Always nice to find out more about a coach's background and personal life.

No doubt that Coach Albin is a great person and a very good coach. Let's hope the people that wanted him gone after one season realize how fortunate they are to have him in Athens.

That was fun to watch. It's always great to get a glimpse into someone's life story. Gained a real appreciation of what we are lucky to have here in Athens as the head of the program.

I've apologized for my stupidity in that regard several times. I suspect that most of the others in this camp feel similarly.

Testify! I was one of them. Proud to day I was wrong. I am all in for Coach Albin.

Coach Albin and Eric Dickerson have something in common. I hope coach paid for this one. :)

I never doubted he was a great guy. Every interaction I've ever had with him, I felt like I was the one who had to end it LOL I swear he would talk to you all day if he could.

Most of us were critical - rightfully so - after the bumpy start to the season, after a bad season, but he and Scott/Brian/Especially Spense turned it around - like good coaches do. We also continue to recruit well - at least from where I'm sitting.

The next hurdle would be to keep him in Athens. That I suspect might be a bigger challenge, with his kids now older and one married. And what most of us expect to be another 10-win season.

Let's just hope when that time comes, we look around hard. Though I suspect Scott is the next man up. Over Spense. I would also see what some of these re-treads are up to like Manny Diaz (Penn State DC), Barry Odom (Arkansas DC), Al Golden (Notre Dame DC), Matt Wells (Oklahoma analyst), Derek Mason (Oklahoma State DC) and Major Applewhite (South Alabama OC). Hartline could still be a possibility, even at a large paycut, I truly believe he's looking for that first HC gig and it might take some time to see a P5 offer. Scott Frost, I think could be a Frank-type that stays for years after being kicked around.

That was another fantastic post Ted. Coach is extremely likeable and relatable. Lets get a MACC this year. Then, we might have to dust of the wallets a bit to keep it going. I don't want a 'mac and cheese or french fry" bowl win this year.. I want more. BLEED GREEN!

+1 I agree, randy.

It would be a lot cooler (and stranger) if SMU bought it for him.
