This is so inciteful. ISU loss at home, UA win on road, the rest is W at home and L on road. A lot of detailed analysis here.

Seems like randomized picking for the whole conference from a national source that really hasn’t paid much attention to the MAC. Losses to Bowling Green and NIU, while possible, are certainly head scratcher picks. I suspect Buffalo will be competitive and have a strong run game, but I’m not sold on their ability to pass the ball effectively due to their loses at WR. The Bulls defense should be solid, although they lost some playmakers on that side of the ball too. It’s funny how almost every fanbase is ingrained to count Akron as a sure win. The Zips are going to surprise a lot of people this year. The transfer portal has accelerated the ability to turn around programs.

Inciteful is a new word for me but somehow it works.

Yes, he replaced Kevin Wiseman as the Messenger sports director. He started last fall. He has told me that he plans to expand his cover now that he gotten a full athletic season under he is belt and has more of a feel for things.

Luckily for him, we don't expect a lot. LOL.

Thanks for sharing! Wasn’t able to make it to the scrimmage (or the sale!).

When the second paragraph of the article starts “While we weren’t able to find out much…” I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry. No quotes from TA or the staff. Not sure why not. TA doesn’t strike me as someone who would decline an interview request!

6-6 overall and 5-3 in the MAC?!?!?! Not a snowball's chance in hell is Ohio having that kind of a season!!! No one, I repeat, no one is touching Ohio next year from the MAC! There isn't a team from the East that stands a chance of stopping Ohio from getting to Detroit, and Ohio has a dream schedule to boot that's better than anything any other MAC schools has to face - it's not even close. Ohio will finish with double digit wins and has the potential to run the table with that schedule, will flirt with a Top-25 ranking and will be ranked if they take care of business vs SDSU and ISU, and will end the MAC Championship drought.

Don't know how many saw this, but College Football News had a nice write-up on OU for this upcoming season.

My big takeaway: The Bobcats ended up 1-4 when allowing more than five yards per carry, and went 9-0 when allowing fewer.

They kind of tarnished that review by saying that "If you believe QB Nathan Rourke will be Nathan Rourke again coming off his injury, again, hope for a double-digit win season."

I don't believe that whether Nathan Rourke recovers from his injury will have any impact on the Bobcats' win total, thought it might impact Jacksonville somewhat.
