Today that standard is now about 22”. You can look at the wings which are newer, and they are at an 18” standard. It was an interesting display, but I was startled to see that the stadium was listed as having a capacity of something like 38,000. When I was there the stadium had not undergone any additions, but the capacity was listed as 64,000. I asked how could this be. The answer was that they had gone through the stadium at one point and reduced the size of the bleacher seats all the way around the stadium. This was enough they claimed to add about 24,000 seats. Not too many years ago when you could actually access a seating chart, I totaled them and they were less than 20,000k numbered seats. Then the university could put in a deck that spanned almost from Sook to Victory Hill with a lower height for a large stadium/donut feel but only 5,000 to add a net 2,000 seats.
