I have been following the Cats since mid 90's when I was in school, and I recall a bit of a turnaround season when Jim Grobe came, but...the success of this team is remarkable.

I went to two games in person last year but watched most of the games on tv. I saw little reason for hope. We looked lost and I really felt that the program was going to take a nosedive after Frank left. There was little reason for optimism. I never saw this season coming!

Rourke's improvement has been amazing, but the addition of playmakers on offense and cohesion of the defense as the season has come along has been really unbelievable. The transfer portal played big dividends for us with getting some playmakers at wide receiver. The two games I attended this year were fun and it was great to see the crowds return and have pride in the team again.

Last night, I was bummed to see Rourke get hurt, and the possibility of the MAC title hopes unravelling could happen...but I really think this team will find a way to win. And I could not be prouder of the turnaround of the entire roster. As an OU football fan, you always want to win championships and bowl games. But I am proud to see our program get back on the right track again. Albin and the coaches have coached this team up and put the negatives of last year behind us. Selfishly, I really would love to see us go to Detroit and win the conference. But regardless of what happens, I am very proud of this team!
