What is going on here? What am I missing? Who should actually be starting / playing? because clearly our coaches have no idea.

Seems that Torrie Cox and Justin Birchette are the best corners with Roman Parodie and John Gregory as backups.

At the safety position I have no idea. Tariq Drake seems to be a constant name but not sure who else. Zack Sanders? Alvin Floyd? Adonis Williams?

What happened to Jamison Collier? he's not even on the roster anymore.

How is our talent in the secondary so far apart from every other team in FBS? Even in the MAC, WRs have career days against us. Is it coaching? Lack of talent? What is it?

I have lots of questions and very few answers. It's ok though, in Albins next presser he will just talk about how we have a "few things to clean up" LOL

Stat of the game has to be yards after catch. I imagine they had a 6:1 advantage in that respect.

I think the guys kind of forgot about tackling and went after trying to make the ball carriers fumble.

Hey that last drive. Let’s double 14. He’s kinda hurt us. Don’t let him beat you.

Totally agree, Valley Cat! How many teams (over the last several years) have a single WR threat we cannot seem to cover? We even knew #14 was good.

I think that it’s ironic that it was announced on twitter during the game that we got a commitment for a 2023 corner back. How cool.

One of the twitter responses was: congratulations. The Bobcats can use your special talents.

I just looked at his Hudl highlights - the first 4 videos showed interceptions .
His profile says All State Defensive Back.

Maybe I’m remembering this wrong…but on those last 2 offensive processions, having the ball with 4:00 minutes left and again with 2:00, some heat could have been taken off of those guys if the offense converts some first downs and puts the game away.

I couldn’t agree more the offense could have bailed the, out on several occasions but it gets lost in the 700 plus yards and the 200 yard rusher and receiver. They only scored 24 pints in regulation which is insane considering the yardage and explosive plays. Sometimes these coaches are too smart for their own good. It’s a simple game. If I was Jake Miller I would be hiding under my desk watching all the missed tackles. Kent looked like they were clearly the stronger team.

Our defensive backs just got a shoutout on Sirius radio. They mentioned the record day by a receiver from Fordham and over 700 yards this past weekend. “ you want to play against that backfield”

Ouch. Hope the guys get fired up and change that narrative real soon,

The crazy thing is it still took a catch-of-the-year type TD for Kent and then overtime to beat us.

At least it looks like our offense can keep up and games may be high scoring mayhem fun to watch.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

Got to score more than 24 points. It was not a stellar game from our offense. 8 punts and a turnover on downs.

You are seeing the results of the stellar recruiting that occurred under Coach Solich.

Not arguing the point, but do you think we would have lost the game against Kent State if Solich was still coach? I don't.

I am sorry, I forgot about Frank's stellar MAC record, and penchant for bad losses.

I recall one real bad loss to Kent at the end of a season, but overall didn't he kind of own KSU?
