It would have been his Scott Frost moment, if he had.

No problem. It’s unfortunate others use their countless posts to insult or denigrate rather than adding value to the site (on game day or otherwise).

Seriously? You haven't gotten a legit answer to your silly question yet! Because no one knows what you are talking about! Sad that some on here are sad that Ohio won, or that Ohio would do well, because some of you are so caught up in wanting a new coach you are going to root against OHIO!

actually it was a question with a yes or no answer. So got 25 answers to date. sounds to me like a lot of folks have provided their thoughts (per my reason to post). Almost 3-1 in favor of punting. pretty telling response. wasn’t and am not advocating for a specific answer to the question at hand or your implied larger issue/question. in fact, if you look at my answer in a different thread you might know where I stand on that point (afraid it doesn’t support your leap (“…some of you are so caught up in wanting a new coach you are going to root against OHIO!”) - since YOU are responding to my post one must conclude that you are referring to me in that context. Really Billy? Really? Not sure which orifice you pulled that gem out of, but I have my suspicion. perhaps that can be my next survey post. betting i’d get more that 25 answers.

LOL. I think most anyone who was at, or watched the game, assumed he was referring to the 4th and 1 from our 39 with a minute and a half left.

So, go for it in FG range for the opponent with 1:39 left? That would be absolutely stupid. That’s a no brainer. You kick and play defense. May be the most silly topic ever posted on the board.

Oh there’s been much sillier. especially since our defense had given up 15 yards a play and three tds in the last three drives. Rourke was making good reads and Bangura was running hard. I trusted OUr offense to get us a yard and win the game (I know shocking that I actually was rooting for my alma mater). You didn’t have trust in the offense. that’s fine. and i understand your hesitance to support them and respect that view.the offense had struggled the last two series. I liked showing them we believe they would do their job and get a yard. we punted - it worked. I feel it would have worked out if we had gone for it (hell at least try to draw them offsides). we took the five yard penalty anyways.
