Ohio Bobcats App

I don't know how many used to use it but the Athletic Department finally updated the Ohio Bobcats phone app for the first time since before the pandemic. It had become practically useless. If you had deleted it then it might be worth looking at again.

I have it on Android. I can only assume that it works well on Apple phones again.

It actually works really well but let's not jinx ourselves. Downloading my tickets was really easy. What an upgrade.

I used it for that and it works great. Of course it is easy to buy tickets too. You used to be able to use it to send notifications of final scores in selected sports and such but I turned that off. If you have the appropriate app and account on that app it was usually able to open it to go to a TV or radio broadcast. It looks like it works again. It successfully opened the ESPN app and pulled up the live soccer game against Duquesne. I assume that will work if it is on any channel as long as you have the right app and I expect the Varsity Network if there is Ohio radio but I can't test it.

The schedule is in there but I don't see how to view rosters. I don't think you can. You can read all the articles on the ohiobobcats web page.

Glad it's working for you. Really am. For me it says "wrong password." Then when I request a new password to update the account, the password it provides doesn't work. Good times.

I don't know who all might be having a similar issue or if it is an Android or Apple specific issue. I am not sure that there aren't two different usernames and passwords involved. It asked me to login twice. I am not sure that there isn't one for an account that controls your access on ohiobobcats.com which is the setup for which headlines and notifications you see on your phone and another for the ticketing site ohiobobcats.evenue.net. My username and password were the same so I was not sure if that was true. If I get a chance I'll test this over the weekend.

If you still want to see if you can get it to work if would use a web browser, preferably on a computer with a keyboard but you an use a tablet and see if you cab login on that or at least successfully change your password and login. That would let you know for sure if it is an issue with the app itself.
