Sheesh, he was feeling himself all training camp if you've followed his social media. Sounded pretty confident.

I think they’ll bring him back but on the practice squad.

May be wrong, but I do not believe he is eligible for the practice squad any longer.

He is eligible for the practice squad, you can now keep up to four veterans on the practice squad. He qualifies by the old rules as well. He was not active for enough games last year. There are rumors that Detroit may sign him to their roster, we will see what happens going forward.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Bucs’ coach Arians said he likes his playmaking ability but there was concern about some missed tackles in the preseason. I remember there was one play against the Bengals when he tried to take down a ball carrier with a hit without “wrapping up”. I think the ball carrier got another 15-20 yards after the collision. I’ve thought in the past that Javon, in some circumstances, has been too concerned about the big hit rather than just trying to make a play. I’m sure sending a message to the other team, with a big hit, is important, but obviously making sure the play is made is more so. Hopefully he works to correct his tackling and gets another chance. Really pulling for him.

Hope he latches on somewhere.

After cut-downs, Basham is on the Cowboys' roster and TJ's on Indy's.

Totally agree, Mr. Hagan is impressively athletic and has good instincts, but he sometimes seems to let go of the basic fundamentals. I think this guy could be a legitimate talent in the NFL if only he would make sure that he wraps up people and finishes the job that he is paid to do.

Jesus Christ. Hagan had made over 90% of the tackles he's supposed to have made but here we are again first it was his dancing now this over & over & over. It's no wonder some Alumni never come back it's bc they get trashed and nitpicked about. Noah Keller, Carrie and Poling all missed plenty tackles but the narrative is different for some.

Sorry. But I doesn't appear that I'm the only one who recalls Hagan missing a tackle because he didn't wrap up on multiple occasions during his time in Athens. Not sure what the percent is (<10% according to you), but it definitely happened too often.

Geesh watch an NFL game or two and watch alllllll the missed tackles. Yet this young man and some others are constantly scrutinized. People pick and choose. A safety misses a tackle, and it’s “oh he must have picked up the Hagan technique “. Get a life!!!! Every article I read lead me to believe he would make the roster, hell he even had Ronde Barber talking about him. I wish this young man the best of luck! Let me guess, it was his fault they loss last night??? Good Luck Hagan!

I watch very little NFL so I can't speak about missed tackles on Sundays. I do watch (practically) all Ohio Bobcat games going back decades and can recall Hagan continuously missing tackles due to poor technique.

Like in "Mr. Mom," they'll probably bring him in to blame him for the loss.

I hate that he did not make the team, I cannot believe that another team has not picked him up. He missed two or three tackles but he also had 4 tackles for losses. I don’t think Arians liked all of the media attention that he was getting. Most of the people covering the training camp said he had a better camp than Chris Cooper. Keep your head up JH, your time is coming.

Arians and most all NFL coaches hate feast or famine safeties when it comes to tackling. Last line of defense.

Safety’s are a last line of defense. Feast or famine is not a good thing. Consistency is the key.
