Some conferences will honor the scholarships of student athletes who opt out from playing their sport over Covid-19 concerns, even if their school plays all or part of their sport's season. But so far I haven't seen where the NCAA would grant them an extra year of eligibility. That might impact the athletes' decision. Anyone heard what the NCAA might do?
