I don't follow recruiting nearly as closely as some of you, but in looking over this class it appears to me that it is significantly taller than any class I can remember. Is this impression correct?

I think you are right, especially in the secondary. We now have a 6-2 corner and a 6-3 safety to contest those jump balls.

And a 6’4” WR for the Red Zone.

We might have landed the Penn QB because of his lack of height....never stopped Fran Tarkenton or Doug Flutie.

The wide receiver is a little bit slow, he may end up being a tight end. The db's are taller and both run in the 4.5 range. Collier looks like he has good football speed.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

The weight factor is also important. We have a few 330 pound lineman this year. I’m not saying every 330 pound lineman will work out...actually the 300 pound Ramer looks like a beast...but I remember the days when we would recruit a 6’6”-240 tackle hoping he’d fill in...didn’t work out much.

THe Grobe days haha, I remember we had a 250 pound tackle that was pretty good.

I read this post before I saw who wrote it - but knew it was Allen.
