Not just big, he's also mobile and strong. I like this addition. He's rated 5.4 (high two-star) by Rivals, and he had offers from Ball State and Austin Peay:

Now there is only one we haven't identified.

Agreed! Several years ago OG Eric Steinbach of the Browns was lamented to be the last of the remaining under 300 pound offensive lineman then left in the NFL. Nowadays, at least for the FBS teams it seems that INCOMING FRESHMEN are 300 plus pounds! Just amazing. I have to wonder about the long term health effects of that.

Wow he is big! His team runs a lot so I'm guessing he is more prepared for run blocking than pass blocking.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Would it be okay if he had a fiery streak and decided to sit in on D-line a bit?

I'm amazed at high school linemen's sizes sometimes. This isn't always the case, but some small school high schools even have huge lines. Wynford, which always is in the playoffs, missed Division VII (smallest) by 1 boy. It has a line that goes 6-7, 315; 5-9, 245; 6-5, 270; 5-8, 215; and 6-2, 340.

It's a lot closer to his home, so I'd guess that is part of it.

So I guess the Solich visit was to try and save a recruit. Unfortunate that he couldn't in this case. Also looks like this kid fooled us with his bleedgreen garbage.

Can play for a national championship at FCS. MACC gets you a crappy bowl no one watches or remembers.

If his choice was a school with a tradition of being in contention, I might buy that.

His new school is an hour and a half from home. I'd guess that's the biggest reason. Sometimes there's a girlfriend or a parent who influences a decision like that.

So, I read LCs alert about a three star OL guy and next thing I know he's going to EKU. Go figure. Maybe we will get the JUCO QB instead

Sorry for the "false alert." I do like your continued optimism, though. Five-star JUCO QB coming up . . .

This is the MAC. I guarantee every Ohio signee will have the same or better offers that Jordan Lynch, Eric Fisher, TJ Carrie or Khalil Mack received. Bottom line is, in recent recruiting has Ohio gotten bigger, stronger and faster?

Man, this is the guy I wanted most out of this class too. I thought we were a little heavy on OL recruits with 4, but after losing Lewis to the AFA, this hurts.

Gonna be another weak class, methinks, unless we can swipe a high three- or four-star from someone.

relax, this is the mac, we should not expect good recruiting.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes
