I believe his only offer at the moment is from UC. We can and have beaten UC for prospects.

Highly competitive. All but Princeton are D1. Some have enrollments of 2500+.

Myes, that is a quality league with a lot of speed and athleticism in which to measure a kids skills.

who knows with some of these kids...grades? attitude?

but here's another one that I just don't get.

Michael Johnson, a late bloomer RB from London 0H, about 15 miles west of Columbus.

He has Trae Williams-like numbers...207 att. 2341 yards, 11.3 per carry.

This is not some 5'7, 165 lb kid either. He's a converted wide receiver standing 6'3"/200lbs.

He's GOT to play somewhere, so why not in Athens?

At 6'3" odds are that at the next level he'd convert back to WR or TE. That doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good get, thought it would mean he's more apt to be overlooked.

This year in our area there is one 3-6 team with a 6'0" 190lb QB with 1100+ passing & 1500+ rushing. Good kid, unfortunately he is invisible to the services. I have sent his info to the Ohio staff, who knows.

Stats are not the telling statistic, and after 8 games a QB should be over 1,000
