Can play DE or DT…..he and Weaver on the outside will cause opponents some real problems.

Just by looking at practice film, dude can get off the ball quick for his size. We haven’t had a solid pass rush in a while. Gotta think that him and Weaver will tear it up next season

I hope so, he had 1 tackle at Cincy. It so hard to tell with these guys who come out of HS so strong and never see the field. Late bloomer?

Ohio has had mixed results with these P5 transfers. Doggette played beside Gorman in HS and was pursued heavily by P5 programs. Fingers crossed he contributes. Hunter (Purdue)-finally seems to be part of the DL rotation and has flashed. Mayfield (MSU) has yet to pan out.
High hopes for all these guys now that they are Bobcats.

He was young, and naturally started down the depth chart. He hopefully will thrive at Ohio. At 270, he could play DE, or he could end up inside. Casey Sayles is a good example of a guy that started at DE, and turned into an outstanding DT.

Note that at Pick Central, he actually played DT, while UC tried to move him outside, and apparently that didn't work out all that well. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ohio moves him back to his original position:
