According to the Athens Messenger Jacob will greyshirt this coming season and join the team in January.  I assume that puts him in the 2015 class since he will still have four years of eligibility.  Can someone clarify how a greyshirt works in this situation?

The Messenger also states that he has been accepted into the Russ College of Engineering.  It is great to see a local high school athlete joining the Bobcats!

Your NCAA eligibility clock does not begin until you actually enroll, so enrolling in January would start your clock and the first season you'd be eligible would be 2015 season.  This starts your 5 to play 4 clock.

Click the link. Seems like a Solich recruit. One they will love having around, smart,  tough, a winner with leadership.  Has a younger brother who might even follow.
