CB is my highest area of concern, so I'm happy to seen another corner. There can't be many spaces left.

That's what worries me about Papi White.....sounds like he's leanin towards S.Miss and if we're out of schollies is doesn't matter.....hopefully we're not and OUr Oklahoma boys can convince him along with the quality of OUr journalism school.  Here's Laytons Hudl

I'm predicting some decommits with the coaching changes so you won't have to worry about spaces available

Maybe. We'll see.

I am thinking none, but it's always possible. In some ways it may depend on how successful Vandy is at holding on to their own recruits, and how quickly Ohio names replacements for the departed coaches. Even then, Vandy, in order to be competitive in the SEC is typically after 4 star recruits, and takes some 3 star ones, while Ohio is generally a rung lower, going after 3 star recruits, and taking some 2-star ones. I think it's more likely that Vandy goes after Stanford recruits than Ohio ones. Still, there are a few Ohio recruits, particularly OL recruits that Vandy might go after. We'll just have to wait and see.

I was thinking we would lose some to other schools, rather than Vandy, but with Vandy having 10-11 decommits so far, it possible we may lose 1 or 2 to them as well

Lets hope we don't lose Duckworth...that would be a disaster.

Ah, OK. Yes, that could happen, but I don't think so. The best defense against that is probably to find some quality replacements for the departing coaches.

Duckworth has a torn ACL, nobody will attempt to steal him. We need to get anther quarterback just in case he does not heal.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Can you hear us all the way back there in the '50s? Modern medicine has advanced to where the ACL injury is not a career ender. Duckworth will be fine and yes we should be afraid someone will steal him, especially with Gdowski being one of the coaches who left.

Seems coach Solich scheduled a personal visit to Joey for yesterday. No further information.

I certainly hope that Duckworth recovers, but nobody will take him. Surgery has came along way and he is a young man, so he should recover fully. He will need to redshirt next year and deal with the psychological effects as well. Trust me nobody is trying to steal him.

His situation seems similar to Mario Dovell. If my memory is correct, Dovell also tore his ACL in high school, and Ohio honored their scholarship offer, and after sitting out a year, Dovell had a decent career at Ohio, though it was hindered by some additional injuries, such as a broken leg in 2012.

It doesn't really matter but it seems inconsistent to be worried that we may lose him, to think he's a fine player and we definitely want him.....then to think that no one else will want him.

Seriously?  News flash, ACL injuries are hardly the career enders they were 20 years ago.  In fact, one of my sons tore his ACL in the late 90's and went on to a fine collegiate sports career.  Don't get me wrong though, much of it is mental and the rehab is unbelievably hard/painful work.  Good luck to the young man!
