Heard from another forum that he would be a walk-on at Ohio....from Wheelersburg....looks like a strong safety:

It would be nice if the walkons, grayshirts, preferred walkons, etc would be announced, realizing that things happen before they do come.  Things happen with signees too.

Many football fans are not aware of the importance walk-ons may mean to the team and program.  

Just by their desire to perform everything the others on the team do and take on the worst scout team jobs when there is little chance to earn a scholarship can be a huge influence to the scholarship athlete.  Seeing someone who loves the game and give it their all for the team with little chance of stardom can sometimes move the scholarship athlete to try to take it to their next level too.

If it is true that you are only as good as you practice than you need to have guys in practice who are willing to sacrifice much to prepare their practice opponents for the real challenge on Saturdays.

Hats off to the walk-ons.
