Watching the Ohio North-South game, they listed All Star WR Brandon Schankweiler's school choice as Ohio. Videos show him scoring about 50 TDs from RB, WR, KR, QB and D.

Nice pick up.....most I've listened to have him as D1 material.....then you get a few of the "Suthern Ahia plays crappy football" crowd.

Well Southern Ahia either plays REALLY bad football, or this kid is REALLY good.

I've seen crazier things happen.

He played a lot in the North-South as a slot receiver. IMO, he was a great blocker and good route runner. He looked a little small out there. He had only one pass tossed his way, at the goal line, which was off target. He did pancake a safety on the South's first TD. That's the good news. The bad news is the safety that he flattened was Aaron Macer. I'm sure they'll be talking about that come August. As for Macer, he seemed a little off his game. He's big enough and has enough speed to be a Gerald Moore lookalike, but I think free safety is a new position for him (I think he was a corner in HS) and he was a little slow reacting to the ball as a center fielder. He did make a couple of nice plays, though.

He played in a wishbone, option attack. Well coached athlete who comes from one of the better small school public programs in the State of Ohio.

Schank....can't wait to see him in a Cat uni.....back in my day Portsmouth Notre Dame was the powerhouse with the state rankings and players going to D1 and the pros......today the big 3 in Scioto County is Wheelersburg....Portsmouth....and Portsmouth West......roommates at Ohio were from Wheelersburg.

Portsmouth has not been very good in the past 5 years or more.

Agreed.  Quality of football pretty good in that program and in some of the schools they compete against.

He has a great vision of the field and a sense of timing, as well as great balance. He didn't seem that fast in the film, though. ESPN shows him testing at 4.57, which isn't bad:

I have no idea what position he will end up at, but he definitely appears to have the skills to contribute.
